Geac Enterprise Solutions
Issue: Geac was created through the merger of two divisions of a nearly $1 billion company, Geac Enterprise Solutions was looking for a clear direction for its brand. Overarching corporate goals were unclear, and customers had only limited awareness of Geac’s broad solutions and its worldwide presence.
Insight: Consulted with key leadership, including its local and global marketing divisions, executive management and president in an effort to identify the company’s overall vision and identifying a brand strategy. I created key messages, brand positioning, a common reference for corporate design standards and a brand guide for corporate, program, product, web, and collateral materials.
Impact: In 2001, image and identity standards rolled out for use by over 40 marketing managers in the U.S., Europe, and Pac-Asia. The guidelines vastly increased the efficient use of resources. |
